Mediation
Minimum 1 day including pre-mediation e-meeting with each party : $3,500
Follow up half day if required : $2,000
Facilitation and early-intervention/organisational culture focus : $300 / hour
Not-for-profit & Volunteer sector : Please ask
All rates are plus GST and disbursements including appropriate venue hire & travel if any.
Mediation
Mediation as an alternative dispute resolution process is my primary focus, with a depth of experience in employment matters. For issues within a senior management or leadership team, or for matters arising between the Board and a senior leader it is critically important to have a Mediator that is comfortable and experienced at that level.
Having been a business owner in a large, privately owned manufacturing business as well as self employed in a small business environment, coupled with governance experience in the local givernment, volunteer sport and education sectors sees me well equipped to operate in those areas.
I offer an assurance of confidentiality and a prompt response to meet your timeframes as timely resolution can often be important.
Community and Team Facilitation
As communities, we have many challenging and complex issues to work through in the current environment. Coupled with affordability issues and increasingly divided interest groups, finding common ways forward can appear near impossible -yet a way forward must be found for us to maintain societal cohesion and rebuild stronger more resiliant communities. I have facilitated discussions in this regard, both in my Deputy Mayor role but also as an independent advocate for affordable housing options in New Zealand's broken housing system.
I also work with community and sporting volunteer groups that have a shared interest and passion but are struggling to work effectively as a team, respecting different views and perspectives but with a common vision and effective working relationships; I can facilitate in these spaces to give space for all voices and finding ways forward.
Arbitration
For clarity, I do not practice in arbitration, adjudication or other determinative alternative dispute resolution processes.
Family
For clarity, I do not offer Family Mediation or Family Dispute Resolution services.
